Lalu Yadav, His Truth, Inside Stories

Love Him or Hate Him... But you can't Ignore Him.
That's truth about lalu. But when I have seen him speaking Today on Aajtak, speaking bad about Thakre Family and Raj Thakre.. In some indecent words like they are mental. They have loosed their balance etc. All respect got flushed and Lalus bad points came to my mind. I am not intended to write any thing bad about any one. Neither I have a bias on any part… I purely believe in progress. I invite readers views on the issue.

Is Lalu still a person respectable by intellects of India. Is he a mere opportunist? Is he playing partisan or divide and rule politics?

CYG 2008 Pune.

Yesterday I have attended CYG Opening ceremony at Pune with Family. What a great show! Great is not a word to describe the event, much bigger than that! Spirit displayed by Sports Men, Common Men and of course Politicians is just awesome. Every one a policeman to dancer and kids holding balloons seems to own the event.
If I have to arrange a small birthday party at home I have to think 10 times, it makes my adrenaline level get increased and sweat does not stop! But here every thing was under control! Many says GOD runs this country called India and we can see it happening here. It’s true we have matured and are nearing status of developed economy… and event like this are proof of it.
What to say at end! JAY MAHARASHTRA. Let's GET SET GO and get charged with JIGRR

Team members from EDS have travelled to Mulshi. It is approx 45 Kms from pune. Road Condition is good. We stayed at : ZEN SPORT RESORT, Mulshi.

Contacts: Mr. Manoj Pawar - 9923892004.

Review: Resort is a good place to stay; rooms are ok with only a bed and a light bulb. Taped water is available but advice to carry bottled water.
Toilet bathroom are common. In short mulshi is a great place for adventure lovers but not for people seeking luxury.
Photos will tell more about the place.

PMP Exam Preparation

On April 17th I have cleared PMP Certification. I would like to share my experience in are of exam preparation.

  • Read PMBOK for 2 times. Mark your comments in the book.
  • List out areas where you are not comfortable.
  • Get RITA Mulcahys’ PMP Exam Prep It really helps.
  • Follow Step-by-step study plan given in book of Rita it helps.
  • Study on week ends, also take a break while learning and try to day dream what you have learned.
  • Most important is solve as many questions you can solve. i.e give mock exams. Because I have seen many people failing because they can not finish all 200 questions in 4 hours

    On the day of exam:
There are many good points explained in book of Rita; on top I would like to advice that please keep answering 50 questions in 1 hour. Because if you can’t answer 50 question in 60 min. in the end you will not have quality time to answer the question.

Problem Solving In SAP.

I believe that No Problem is a Rocket Science. But Today's experiance has suggested me to wait and watch before announcing your solution. Try to look for option, discuss with others with open mind about his views on solution, Findout is there any betterway than this? if you wait, watch and have creative feedback from others. I am sure you can get a better solution.

Solving problem is not a big thing!!! Providing best solution with a great learning is a KEY achievement. This is my today's learning form a problem of downloading a spool generated by SAP SCRIPT to a text file.

Arguments and How to Be nice at it.

  • If you have no Option but to enter into arguments.....
  • The rule of thumb to remember is that your own desire to believe something or your own opinion about how great the belief is will not convince anyone else. To do that, you need logic and evidence.
  • Being able to argue logically will make you very effective at pointing out the flaws and contradictions in your opponent's objections.
  • Never have bad sportsmanship. Learn to accept you also may be wrong.
  • Increase your vocabulary some time arguing becomes a hot discussion because of language problem or small vacabulary.
  • If all else fails; you can "win" an argument by just proving other person wrong. You don't have to prove yourself right, but since they are wrong this implies you are right. But some time proving some one wrong will cost you more than WINNING!!!
  • Keep talking about facts and logic and such. When your opponent gets bored of this argument, likely they'll apologize and say you were right the whole time. Note: This will take a lot of knowledge on the subject and patience. Thank the opposite person a win or lose, it makes him happy.:)
I advise you to, before your speech, practice gargling, anything to help your speech

Saying Sorry & Thank You is Simple.

Refer to a Book The One Minute Apology, By Ken and Forward written by Spencer Johnson. When you make a mistake, Don't delay in expressing your sorry; when you delay your response you compound the problem.

Mistakes are made by every one; this book will help you to set things right. It explains with an example ..How to correct your mistake and make things better.

It's not just a Technique, it's not just a book, It's philosophy to live and take benefit. One can get great benefit from the book if he or she is passing through tough situation.

When In Trouble... Wait, Watch and Go...

When In Trouble, Do not React.

We all can have a choice. We can choose our response to situations. If we panic. We can surely make things worse.

We can get control of things if we are in control. If we react due to pressure of moment we are going to loose on our choices.

We can WAIT, WATCH and GO like we do on Traffic Signal. Life is like a conjusted road, if we rush there are are high chances we can hit someone and damage our own vehicle.

I am putting this thoughs outof my experiances of life.

How to Deal with Difficult People?

Dear Reader,

We all get difficult & unreasonable people in life and some time we also become unreasoble and difficult.

How to deal with them is a trick.

We can choose our response while dealing with such people we can choose to

1. Run Away
2. Change Our Attitude
3. Change their Attitude OR
4. Take a Stand.

It depends on situation that we choose to RUN from that person if we can. If we can see that the issue or person is not worth loosing our time on then we can RUN.

If we can not run as issue or person is Improtant then we can introspect and can see is there any need to change my attitude. The person is not difficult but it's my perception then we can choose to change our attitude.

If we can see the person is jsut ignorant and can be changed if we can give him a hint on his unreasonable behaviour then choise 3 is good.

But if we need to deal with the person and can not change him. Then this is the last way. we can decide to do tit for tat.

Being a SAP Consultant and Mentor.

Every one likes to advice and be a mentor to other, So does I. From my exp. I have found that it's not that easy to guide some one.

Since last year I am actively answering to queries from different people, I got connected to over 200 people. Every one has unique query, but the most common was: Help me to find a Job.

I have tried to help majority of them by giving guidance. (what more I can do?) many has asked me for back door entry or a short cut. I know it's difficult to answer to those query and more difficult for people to digest the answer. But the fact remains: u need to work hard to get into SAP field. Companies are paying good salary & looking for 2-3+ yrs. experienced consultant. So for those who are freshers and struggling to come on board it's hard time and it's time to put lot of efforts.

Being an SAP consultant is a challenge. You need to know technology and business both. So while a person is preparing to enter in SAP; he has to start with a HABIT of knowing Business as much as he can.

Commitment to Create A Social Network.

I have dreamed about creating an active social network in 1996 after passing from DDIT, Nadiad.

I have started a company Networld technologies (later diversified into Netvision the JAVA Guru) to manifest the dream. I have trained many professionals in area of Internet, HTML, JAVA and other web development tools.Developed E-Governance Portal for Government of Gujarat: http://www.mahitishakti.net/ and initiated a great portal http://www.akshardham.com/ in 1999 I have reserved domains like www.indiaalumni.com/ , www.indiaschools.com , www.indiacareer.com and www.indiacolleges.com as a part of the project but now this domains are owned by some one else.

Time, skill and habit of keeping commitment has brought many diversions in this progress. Tough time has taken and given many things to me. But I have always believed in making and keeping commitments and this is a word very near to my heart. And that's why it's the 1st letter of CAN.
I will post details of ACT and Now in next postings.

I am sure my dream to create such network will come true one day, I have long way to go and I will keep walking till I reach there.

At present I am involved in developing ERP solutions using SAP. and I am dedicating my self to a community called SDN. You can visit it at http://www.sdn.sap.com/
